Various analysis of transport over the past 10 to 15 years, have shown that overland transport ( by trucks and trailers) has become the prime carrier of goods in countries like Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.

While there are opportunities, growth is stymied thru the shortage of trailers which are conforming to European standards. There is need of 3,000 to 4,000 units, of which, Ukraine alone would need at least 1,000 - 1,300 annually.

Attempts to produce trailers have been delayed by the high cost of materials , as well as lack of know how, experience and the right contacts that are needed to obtain contracts and cooperation with many Western European countries.
